With respect to the origin, Mezo uses Artisenal Maguey Espadín (Agave angustifolia) handcrafted by 5th generation maestro mezcaleros Oscar and Octavio Martinez in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. Our mezcaleros are co-owners. Every Mezo helps rural communities that rely on mezcal as their livelihood.
